Fred you are in a better place, free from your pain and discomfort.  The friendships you made and the memories you created will live on forever.  Just yesterday I had an appointment with someone to see an apartment.  As we stood in the empty apartment he said he had many friends who lived here and mentioned you.  I told him that sadly I had just attended your memorial the evening before.  He was visibly upset that he had not heard and said he had your card in his wallet and pulled it out to show me. He then  shared  stories of you.  As we walked back to the office I stopped and showed him the memorial to you in the greenhouse.  You made so many, many friends with your kindness in deeds,  words and actions.  As I like to say you left your footprints on so many hearts and that will always be remembered.  I will cherish the beautiful flowering plants you gave me and will take extra special care of your plants from your apartment  your sister so kindly gave me.  I will always remember you sitting in the rotunda with a book and smiling up as I passed.  You were a  true gentleman  and have left your mark on the  Westerly and Barton Center, and you will be GREATLY MISSED.  Rest in peace till we meet again.

I will miss your kindness to me & everyone you helped in your lifetime. Thank you for being one of gods angels on earth !
