GERALDO NIEVES LOPEZ, age 78, passed away Friday August 16, 2024. Beloved husband of Nancy Lopez (nee Virant); loving father of Izia, Melvin, Joann, Jackie, Veronica, and the late Gerry and Yolanda; grandfather of 7; brother of Alejandria, Angelo, and the late Jose, Louis, and Herman; uncle of many.

Gerry loved being a mechanic. He loved working on Lawnmowers, Snow blowers, lawn tractors and cars. 3 weeks before his passing Gerry was installing a transmission in a car. “If you love what you do, it’s not work”. Gerry also enjoyed watching boxing.

Come Celebrate Gerry’s life Friday, August 23, from 3-7pm in the Craciun Berry Funeral home, 7200 Detroit Ave. Interment private.
