She was born in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico, the daughter of the late Gaspar Gonzalez Perez and Julia Medina Rosa. Gloria is the beloved wife of 60 years to Armando Santana; loving mother of Danilo Santana (Margie), Mari Maisonet (Fernando), Armando Santana Jr. (Mayra), Carlos Santana (Susan) and Victor Santana; cherished grandmother of Jackie, Jenny, Limari, Ray, Armando III, Cathylia, Leslie, Jazzmin, Carlos, Victor Jr., and great-grandmother of many; dear sister of Antonia Gonzalez and Carmen Medina; adored aunt and friend of many.
In all her free time she would spend it playing dominoes and bingo. She was a lifelong member of St. Michael the Archangel Church and was a member of the choir. Her favorite time of the year was the Christmas season, going caroling and making it special for her children and grandchildren. She was loved by everyone and will be dearly missed by all.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 4PM-8PM at Craciun Berry Funeral Home, 7200 Detroit Avenue, Cleveland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11AM at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 3114 Scranton Rd., Cleveland. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
