Born on May 21, 1927, in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the beloved eldest child of Idella and Harris Reese. Horace was united in marriage to Fanny Pierce Reese for 42 years, who preceded him in death, along with their son, Glenn Wesley Reese.
He is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Marcy Ellen Reese (Mychael E. Davis), his special friend Peggy Williams, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, church members, and friends.
A Celebration of Life gathering, honoring the countless lives touched and influenced by Horace, will be announced at a later date.
