James "Chief" Lee Rave, age 83. Dearly beloved husband of Norma (nee Mills) (deceased). Loving father of Bonita (Wayne) Nagy, James (Susan) Rave, William Rave, Richard Rave (deceased), Diane Velazquez (deceased). Carl Rave, John Rave, Antoinette (Anthony) McMahan and Arthur Rave. Dearest grandfather of 15 and great grandfather of 17. Dear brother of 4. Dear uncle, cousin and friend of many. Our Chief lived his life on his own terms and raised his family when our mother died. Chief was born a Cheyenne Sioux from the Cheyenne River Eagle Butte Indian Reservation. He was a proud veteran of his service for our country serving in the U. S. Navy. Our Chief was a major character and will be greatly missed by everyone that knew and loved him. Rest in peace with all our ancestors and Mom we love her. Family will receive friends Thursday September 5, 2024, 4 - 8pm at Craciun Berry Funeral Home 7200 Detroit Ave. Cleveland Oh. 44102. Where Services will be held 10 AM Friday September 6, 2024. Burial with military honors at West Park Cemetery.
