Dear Joan had a smile that would light up the room and a laugh that would make you smile. She always seemed to be in the best of spirits even when parkinsons was getting worse. We, her Palkovic family, will certainly miss seeing and hearing Joan's laugh at our Family Reunion. Rest in Peace Joan and know you are loved by your family and we will rejoice and laugh together again one day!

Chip, my deepest sympathies on your loss of your beloved Joan. I was shocked and saddened to read about her passing. We'd talk periodically but I didn't know she was ill, as it's been a while since we spoke.. I still remember being at your Wedding on Crest. It was quite a memorable occasion and I think of you both when I drive by..May her Memory be for a blessing.

My cousin Joan was so much fun to hang around with. When we were young she let me ride her pony. As adults I sold Mary Kay for awhile with her. It was such a good feeling sharing these times together. She also rode a motorcycle years ago and I also started riding in 2005. We talked about her times riding especially when she had a tire blow out on dead man’s curve in Cleveland. I sure loved her and will miss hearing her laugh. Rest in peace dear cousin. Fondly, Janet

Oh Aunt Joan aka Pony Joan ( since we had 3 Aunt Joan’s in our family ). You could always light up a room with laughter. Your energy was contagious for sure. Being only 8 years apart you felt more like big sister than an Aunt to me. You took life and lived it to the fullest. Rest Aunt Joan and I am sure we will meet again to chat about horses and life. 💛

Bob,
Our deepest sympathy to you. I know Joan was your best friend and Margie and I have many pleasant memories of you guys. I know when we met at Hall Chemical many years ago you were the perfect couple.
I'll never forget Joan's sense of humor and her rowdy laugh,... and the best lasagna on the planet.
Take care, my friend.

Joan Baker was a devoted friend, a spectacular beauty, funny and observant but always kind. Meeting her was like finding a sister.

Joan, you were always special in our life. I loved your sense of humor, your “sayings” and how kind you were. Your friendship is and has been missed tremendously. You gave our son his first motorcycle ride, not sure if I should thank you for that or not, but he always remembered that. You have left an emptiness in all our hearts, I hope you knew how much you were loved by all your YaYa’s.
