Jorge "Montijo" Gonzalez

Jorge was the beloved husband of 10 years to Siomara Velez Rodriguez and a proud, devoted father to Jatxiel, Abdiel, and Jetzaira Rodriguez. His family was the center of his world, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Whether sharing laughter, offering guidance, or simply being present, Jorge’s love for his children and his wife was constant and unconditional.

He was the dear brother of Luz Omayra and a loving brother-in-law to Marycelie Velez and Angel Velez. Jorge was also the cherished son-in-law of Migdalia and Celio Velez and the adored nephew of Hector Aponte. He held a special place in the lives of his nieces and nephews—Liam and Maya Rodriguez, Gianna Velez, and Angel Velez Jr.—who will always remember his warmth, humor, and playful spirit.

Jorge had a passion for mechanical work and could often be found fixing things or helping someone with a repair. He took pride in working with his hands and was always the first person to offer help when someone needed it. His generosity knew no limits—if someone was struggling, Jorge was there.

Those who knew Jorge will remember his big heart, his sense of humor, and the way he could make others smile even on difficult days. He was caring, loving, and selfless, always putting others before himself. More than anything, Jorge loved spending time with his family, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
