Joe, it’s taking me a minute to write this and find the words to say, but I will forever think of you and hope you found peace. Prayers to your family and loved ones as well. I met you back in 2013 during your “Kent” days. Watching you study for school exams, to watching you pass the board exam to working in your field, to seeing how happy you were in getting married and joining the marines...you consistently motivated me to do better. I dont know how and why, But Rest Easy Joe, you will be missed Truly !

I remember coaching Joe with the Allstars and every time he got on field  we would yell open the hole Joe and he would.  He was a quite but good kid. Sending my condolences to the family 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Joe was in my platoon in boot camp. I don’t know him that well but he’s a brother just the same. I wish I knew him better before he passed. He was a good recruit and a good marine. He kept his head down and kept moving forward because that’s what Marines do. To his friends and loved ones, please know that you’ve been in my prayers and I regret not being able to join you all in laying him to rest. I have the utmost respect for him for the eternal bond we share and what we went through together. He is my brother and will be missed.

One of the coolest most genuine brothers I’ve ever met and played sports with. You were the life of laughter and always clowning! You will always be loved and missed very much Joe!

Joe you may not.have realized that you helped so many people .. I only had about a year with you but that year was always filled with laughs, stupid jokes and just good times.... though you never made it over to help  me clean my garage I got it done and now you can help me work on that old school and just hand me the tools like you said you would!! You helped me joe more then you know... you will live with me forever for only knowing you for a year I feel like I have know you for your whole 29 years... i will always  remember you from the water bottle and the superman bracelet! I will miss you Joe more then you will ever know... I hope that you no longer are sad, or in pain until we meet in spirit again my friend its never goodbye its ill see you later brother...

Joe- you will TRULY be missed. It was an HONOR getting to know you in high school + the joy of you becoming my family through love. Thanks so much for being there for my brother in college. He needed that + he needed YOU. Every time I contacted him he was with you or on his way to you. I was so excited when I found out your mom was now my family.

Joe (JoJo) meeting you  was no accident although we had a mutual dislike for Envy but passion for massage & there you met De. I knew  y’all had a thing for each other I could see by the way you looked at her! When you left for the Marines I was sad yet so proud. When you sent me the ring choices I was elated & honored that you included me in such a huge part of your life. I’m so sorry we didn’t stay close but know I love you still! To De I know he loved you very much, I’m here to support in anyway I can & I love you! 

Laquita,  your son was such a handsome young son, and I am sure you were very proud of his career in the Marines.  You have my deeply sympathy on this tragic loss.

Wow. July 3rd, 2019 was the last day I saw you in person. Joe, it took me a little while to write this, but I want to say I can’t believe you’re gone man. You pulled me out of 2 bad situations and to this day I’m so grateful that you went out of your way to save another Marine who looked up to you in so many ways. Your most famous quote to me was “what good will come from these current actions and what bad chain of events will follow?” That message that you said to me every time I was involved in any kind of bad situation made me truly sit down and make mature decisions. You made me more of a mature person and I’m going to miss you brother. We spent 3 years together on Camp Lejeune and not once did I see you as a peer; I always saw you as a big brother and a mentor. The world needs more mentors and friends like you who are willing to take the time out of your day to ensure someone else is okay. Just know this isn’t the last time you’ll hear from me brother, you’ll see me in Valhalla someday and we can enjoy some Cognac and smokes once again. I love you man, I enjoyed serving with you ✊🖤 🇺🇸until next time. 

Rest Well Joe, even though we met in high school we became bros in college. That is where  we learned  what it was like to be on our own.  I could always depend on you to have my back and you were there anytime I needed you. Seems like I was at your dorm watching movies more than my own. This is hard to digest and you will be missed.

I remember when we used to listen to Lil Boosie in the office while we were waiting to go to 3rd Maintenance all the time. You always had words of wisdom when I was lost or caught up looking at things from one perspective. I will always respect you for that. I really can’t believe your gone though but you’ll never be forgotten through the people you impacted. One of the most hard working and determined men I ever been met .It was an honor serving beside Brother. 

You made it a point to come tell me hi and bye on Tuesday the 11th I wish I had been moer important to you that day because you would still be hear ,,I would have pleade with you to stay with us,I will miss you deeply you have come to me I only wish that day had been one of those times rip til we meet again.

The last time I got a chance to be in your presence was on April 11, 2021 (my birthday) you had just cooked out on the grill, I came to the house and you and Denean played played the song “In da Club” by 50 Cent; and in typical “Joe-fashion” you made me a plate and celebrated me for my birthday with a toast you made and we drank to “more life” I’m deeply saddened that this year I couldn’t do the same for you. I’m gonna miss you “Joe Bro” you are forever my brother.
