My deepest sympathy to Joe's family. May your memories comfort you and be with you always.  Joe had a great family.  I'll always remember them as a kind loving family.  God Bless you all.

How do I even summarize what you mean to me?  Since my first memory, you've been in my life - silent and strong, faithful and so giving. I'll miss you in all the days that lay ahead. I know the Lord was with you - otherwise it is unexplainable what happened. I am so happy that my children got to know and love you. I'm so happy that Craig and I were able to be with you as much as we were. We had some good times and I would love to make you smile. I wish I was pouring you a beer right now. Thanks Uncle Joe for everything you taught me, for everything my children learned from you. Thank you for taking such good care of my Mom.  These days have been so long since we left the hospital that day.   Gone from this place, but never forgotten. I will see you again as The Lord has promised good to us. I've known you all since I was so young.  I have so many memories of seeing all of you around at family events and restaurants.  My Dad, your cousin, (George) and My Mom (Gertrude) always talked so highly of all of you.  And of course, Joe, such a kind and gentle man. Joey, Joey, Joey...I can hardly believe how all of this has happened.  This is like a bad dream.  I still cannot get over it.  I want you to know that I really, really miss you.  More than anyone could ever know.  Thank you for doing me the honor of living with me these past years.  I want you to know you were never a bother.  We kept each other company.  Remember all of our trips out to Vegas, Florida, Geneva and to the farm?  You, me and Lucky Dog...we could write a book :)  My brother Joe, I am so proud of you. Uncle Joe you are so missed already, I can't believe you are gone, you were the best Uncle anyone could ask for and you were the best GodFather anyone could ever want.  I know you are happy in heaven with your Mom and Dad, and my Dad and Mom and Uncle Steve, and Aunt Mary and Marty and Jimmy.  But we really needed you here with us longer.

I can't imagine what life would have been like if you wouldn't have been in my life. You looked out for all of us and helped all of us. You taught me so much, I will always be so grateful. The incredible goodness of your heart that you shared with us so easily, leaves a crushing emptiness inside. Thank you for making my world so much better. Daddy died, but we had you, so we didn't grow up with that emptiness, you were always there for us. Thanks for all the Sunday visits to Kiddieland, batting left hand when we played baseball, the 4th of July fireworks, and all the happy memories. Thanks for being a truly Great Uncle to my boys. You taught me how to ride a bike, make repairs, build things, but most of all I learned so much about love, and patience watching you and how you treated people.
