living with the loss of  dad has never gotten easier, it hurts the same, no much worse, than the day  he went home,  i long to hear him singing,(motown of course,) while cooking for us,(it turns out the 35 years he cooked for me i shoud of been paying attention) or just to see him sitting on the porch ("dodging the bulls") or at the dining room table , as for my memories they remain fresh like it was yesterday, thats what gets me by, my dad lives on in my world, in my home, everyday we apply the great things that he taught us, we live, we laugh,we dance, we sing, and we love!!! miss you poppi !!! a huge hug from your daughter! xoxo

Dad its been a full year since I said good bye to you for the last time , I think of you often and the cut is still as deep as it was a yr ago my only comfort is talking, remembering and laughing of the things you would say and do. I miss you so much and wish I could see you one last time . Ilove you dad.

Uncle, it's so sad thinking of not seeing you out on the porch in the mornings when Ryanne, Kellen and I walking to get coffee and stopping to chat.  Or Meg and the kids riding bikes by your apartment.  Many years and many of my friends have been touched by you and I'm sure we all have a great story to tell of time spent with you.      It`s been one year yet it feels like just yesterday Logan, Liam, and I were sitting on your lap watching the summer rain fall, the lighting bugs fly and telling scary stories in our forts. You were the BEST grandfather ANYONE could of ever asked for. I feel truly blessed that I got to spend time with you at Kellys before you passed. You told me not to be scared to go to highschool and be myself, because I`m perfect the way I am and anyone who doesn't see that will be sorry in the end, and on that first day of high school I walked into that school so confidently thinking of the wise words you bestowed on me and I made it through perfectly happy. This year our little Liam goes into high school and I will tell just how perfect she is just as you did for me. If you were here you would be so proud of all of us your 10 grandkids (11th one on the way) and  your 3 beautiful smart children. We love you and you will never be forgotten your stories will run through our crazy family forever. I wish you were here in person, but you are here in song and in our hearts. I love you and so does everyone else.

Julio was truly the greatest grandfather I have ever asked for. He was always there when I needed anything. He was for sure one Of the only people I could tell anything to and not worry about the reaction. I could count on him for anything. I will really miss him. It feels so weird that he's not here anymore because he has always been right by my side when ever I wanted him. Now he's gone and all I have is memories I just can't belive that yet. I loved him so much.

To the Swift family, I was really sad to hear of Julio's passing. I've known him since elementary school and wish we would have stayed in touch through the years but I'm sure we'll meet again some day. Rest in peace old friend.

I would like to thank everyone for all the kind words of comfort. Also to all those who came to the Funeral Home to say goodbye. Julio is truly blessed to have so many people that loved him in his life here. I know the memories he shared are alive and well with Julio. Using the words written by Mark Harris if I may, Julio would say "Don't cry for me, I'm finally free, to run with the Angels on Streets Made Of Gold, to listen to stories of Saints New and Old, to worship our maker, that's were you'll finally find me.
