My sympathy to the family of Ken Hilpert. I remember Ken well when he worked at The Plain Dealer. I last saw him about 3 years ago at a luncheon held with old Plain Dealer printers. He always was kind, considerate and respectful of others.

My heart is broken over the loss of our KEN.
His sense of humor and friendliness is refreshing.
KEN never met a stranger. Many of his friends have been by his side for well over 50 years.
I am home-bound these days so I feel bad that I am unable to join other loved ones, but I know Ken will understand.
In looking through all the photos, I realized that before I moved to Texas, I recognized many.
The photos of our mom and grandpa really tugged at my heartstrings. What a wonderful tribute!

It’s an end of an era for me. Ken was the one who always contacted my friends & I for the reunions. We met in high school DE class. It was 3 of us girls & Ken & his friends that would hang out together on outings, lots of fun. He was a kind & gentle fella that will be sadly missed. God bless his family🙏
