Ohio to Clardis (deceased) and Eunice Shoulders. He was their only child.
Larry was baptized at an early age at St. Phillip Lutheran Church under the
leadership of Reverend Robinson where he remained a member for many
years.
Larry attended Cleveland Public Schools and graduated from John F.
Kennedy High School in 1976 and attended The Ohio State University.
He enjoyed roller skating, bowling, football, camping and playing the
drums. Larry had a great sense of humor and loved making the people
around him laugh. He always had a smile for his family and friends.
Larry met the love of his life, Janet Griffin, in high school and married her.
To this union four children were born, Shinata, LaToya, Larry Jr. and Jamel.
Larry was a devoted husband and father.
Larry had an excellent work ethic and loved going to work. He was a very
hard worker. He worked at Cleveland Clinic for 20 years and worked at
Ford Motor Company until his retirement in January 2020.
Larry entered into eternal rest unexpectedly on March 30, 2020 and
he leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memory his loving
Mother: Eunice, four children: Shinata, LaToya, Larry Jr. and Jamel, four
grandchildren: Raymir, Chontez, Shyia. Davari and a host of loving Aunts,
Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
