To Bob Andel and family as with last year there were a lot of things which we had to transition to doing without Laura. Today marks one year that she has been resting in heaven. I still can't believe she's no longer here physically however she's always in my heart. 
May you all have that blessed assurance that we will see her again. You are all in my prayers.

Our memories of Laura were filled with fun and laughter. We had always seen her at family parties where she would lighten up the room. Laura had a special way of keeping everybody laughing. She was truly a special person caring and giving and Placed her family in front of everybody. She will be greatly missed by all who had the joy of knowing her🙏🏼💕

I am so very sorry for your loss.
Indeed I still find it hard to believe that our Laurie has passed - she who was such a fighter & so strong willed- just 2 weeks ago when there was an improvement, I thought for sure she’d make it. 
You must be devastated!
Our family will be so different without her. 
She was so vivacious …from her kitchen  center she energized everyone into action…while cooking  family favorite s at the stove
There’d be Italian madness of Joy, yelling  & screams of laughter all around; she was an open book…always told it like it is… never minced words…& with her special Italian expressions of endearments, always got her point across. 
I know she wouldn’t have wanted to leave so soon, I know she must have fought this battle with all her might, but I also know that she knew she was leaving behind a generation of caring members who would carry on  & carry forward the Santillo family traditions-that’s what Laurie would have wanted you all to do.  Although physically gone from us,  she’ll always  be remembered in our special memories…& always be present in our hearts.

Please know that Bob and the rest of the family is in our thoughts and prayers at this time.  Laura was one of the most gracious and thoughtful 'neighbor' we had. Because Bob and Laura were so steadfast in their support, love and presence at her Mom and Dad's home on 71st St., they really were neighbors.  I remember Laura trying to convince her Dad to "maybe cut back" on the tomato and basil plants they grew! And then came the harvest, of which we were the grateful recipients.  
Then there were the annual vacations:  I still keep the souvenir of a glass dolphin on my dresser that Laura brought back to us. Even when we moved away, Laura kept in touch through cards--the most recent at Christmas. 
She leaves a most beautiful and compassionate legacy to you all.

Laura, I still can't believe you are no longer here. It's as though you are still on vacation. I will miss you so much. Your job is not finished you just have a new assignment. To the Andel/Santillo family thank you so much for sharing Laura with us (our Golden Girl) In Laura's Famous words "Bless Your Hearts". You all have my deepest sympathy. She was truly a remarkable part of the CPP family. A tremendous hard worker whom I was honored to have as my supervisor.She was an exceptional friend who was always there for you when you needed her. Met Laura and my cousins for the first time when I stopped over in Cleveland about 10 years ago on a briefly visit to see my Aunt Filomena. 
Laura was very thoughtful, and I often reflect on those few days in Cleveland with affection, I was really taken aback with the welcome and generosity.
 
  I’m glad I had the opportunity and the good fortune to know Laura, she was an inspiration to me.
 
  My prayers and thoughts are with you all in this difficult time, she will be truly missed.

My sincerest condolences to you and your family.  Laura was my friend and I enjoyed being with her, hearing her laugh at Greg's jokes, her storying telling and most of all her faithfulness.  We had planned to go to dinner after the Holidays, but that was not to be, as God had another path for Laura.  May Jesus and Mother Mary comfort you, Bob and your family.
