Leonard Claire Pritchard, age 75, of Morganton, North Carolina passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, April 4, 2023. Leonard was born in Cleveland, Ohio. Son of Leonard H. and Clara G. Pritchard (nee Tesmer), (both deceased).
Dearly beloved husband of Linda E. (nee Vail), formerly married to Matilda (nee Bontempo), loving father of Dr. Claudene M. (Tommy) Vlah, Lisa C. (Robert) Dietz, Stepfather of Cheryl (Dominic, deceased) Ratino and Charlene (Robert) Porter, dearest grandfather of Giana, Luca, and Cecilia Dietz, Erin (Jimmy) Hargett, Josephine (Paul) Cheiky, Charles (Jennifer) Sposit, Logan and Aidan Porter, and great grandfather of 7, dear brother of Robert T. Pritchard (deceased) and dear friend of many. Lenny proudly served our country as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps. Lenny worked and learned the family trade of tool and die machinist and opened his own company, Pritchard Engine and Tool. He dearly loved his grandchildren and his dogs. Lenny and Linda resided in Ohio City for over 40 years and were members of St. Patrick Catholic Church Bridge Avenue and later retired to North Carolina.
Family will receive friends Tuesday, April 11, 2023 from 4-8 PM at Craciun Berry Funeral Home 7200 Detroit Ave. Cleveland, 44102. Funeral Mass Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at 10 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church 3602 Bridge Ave. Cleveland, 44113.
Interment Calvary Cemetery.
