Louis "Lugi" J. Zitiello

Beloved husband of 56 years to Peggy (deceased); loving father of Tommy (Julie) (Judith, deceased), Missy, Cathy Goold (Patrick, deceased) and Mary; adoring grandfather of Evan, Scott (Blake), Sarah (Ryan), Louis (Andie), Lindsay (Matt), Katie (Vinny), Jack and Matt; precious "Pee-Paw" to Jayden, Taylor (Zac), Abby, Tommy, Olivia, Sophia, Stella, Jude, Mick, Olive, Thomas, Isla and baby Louis and great-great grandfather to baby Drew; loving brother of Mary Ann Gerard (Jug, deceased) and the late Frankie (Sue, deceased); uncle and friend to many.

While Lugi was a passionate golfer and proud Navy veteran, the true joy of his life was his wife, children and grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 27, 2026 from 4PM-7PM at Craciun Berry Funeral Home, 7200 Detroit Avenue, Cleveland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:30AM at Lugi's childhood church - Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 6928 Detroit Avenue, Cleveland. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment will follow with US Navy Military Honors at Lakewood Park Cemetery in Rocky River, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made in Lugi's name to the Neighborhood Vets Club, 6606 Herman Avenue, Cleveland 44102, where he spent every Saturday for 70 years making life-long friends and memories that lasted a life-time.
