The day that Kana fell asleep at the Stop sign while driving you guys to school... When you told me that story, the way you would tell stories... Always made me laugh... That day, we laughed so hard when you told the story... I still laugh about it when I remember how you said you poked her with your finger because she was snoring... Lol Your smile... I miss seeing that beautiful smile and hearing you laugh... It never fades in my mind Baba. I wish I could see it one more time... But I will be patient until I do finally see you again and I can hug you for all the times I didn't get to. I love you so so so so much!! 

Luis, 

The most loyal, fearless, and brave soul you could ever meet. Your wit was witnessed basically every time you spoke. Your strength was evident in your stature and when you had your mind set on a goal. 

You leave a lasting impression in my life. You raised the standards of consistency for my childhood; I remember your mother being a strong guardian in your life and as inconvenient as discipline can be to the youth, you rose to the challenge consistently. 

It’s amazing we didn’t maintain our brotherhood for the past 10 years, yet I have faith that your character only grew greater.  So many memories, from riding in the Mitsubishi bumping Jeezy, or the Grand Marquis with the dual exhaust rumbling while listening to the Chronic 2001, tackling inflatable snowmen, beating any neighborhood in street football, calling you if there was some type of “beef”, chilling at Quiznos with you and your sister, passing the boxing gloves around, watching you become a super hero in speed and strength for organized football, and all of the laughs. 

Luis, time nor space can erase whom you are and how you’ve impacted my life and many others’. My mother sends her condolences and I pray for your family, friends, and anyone whom ever met you. 







I remember kicking my first rap in your car. GC would freestyle everyday an I was always too scared. But I remember you goofed around an spit a few bars one day. I always looked up to you as a big bro. In football you were making the blocks an protecting the quarterback. In the streets you was protecting us an if stuff got crazy you always held it down. Not to mention the best driver. 

We would leave football practice to go to subway where we would pick up GC or Jess. We would then be at Luis house all day playing Madden, Boxing an getting into trouble we had no reason to. Those were the days that everything was so simple. School football an vibing all day. 

One of my funniest memories is when we threw a party at your house when your mom was at work. You being the big bro you were let me an Bevance bring girls back to your house an next thing you know it was a party. I got so drunk I threw up all over your bathroom and you guys wrote on my face lol. You helped me clean up an took me to the crib. When everyone was losing their cool or not on point, you always were. 

The reason everybody gravitated to you was because you always had a positive energy. You was never bitching or hating on nobody. It hurts my heart that over the years I haven’t been as close to you an your family as we were. And I’m sorry I never got to bring you to one of my shows or get you on a verse. Tell my Mom Hi in heaven for me an know we gone celebrate when I see you again. I love you my brother. 


To my brother,

   People thought you were quiet and had an angry face, boy was that the opposite. We used to go back and forth for hours talking crap, ranking, playing games. I even remember witnessing you freestyle once and being shocked...then you said I had to spit something too. Man we had some good times. I first met you in spring football when I finally decided to join the team. After that we pretty much chilled together all the time for a few years straight. I'm so glad Chad Henne blew the dolphins vs browns game for you and Ohio state definitely cheated the U. But thank you for always being an amazing friend and always having my back, and I apologize for letting life splitting us up these last few years. I love you forever brother and I hope you got that black mercury up there. You can bump that Jeezy carefree homie. Till then ima try and make you proud

I remember 9 years ago when I first met you in that big house that we once all lived together in. It’s amazing how time flies. You were very quiet but with such a funny monotone sense of humor and that little giggle of yours that always made everyone laugh. I remember you always defending me and always seeing the best in people. That text message I got from Jess didn’t leave my head. I was in shock and really couldn’t believe It was true. You were always their silent guardian. Always watching your sister, mom and grandma from a distance and now I know you will be their guardian angel continuing to watch them and take care of them. I will cherish all of our time together from us all living together to our most recent little escape to the keys. I’m glad the last time we all hung out together we were all smiling and laughing together. I’m blessed to have met you and have you around for such a large part of my life. I know you will always be around.

I met Luis about 6 years ago when I started working at ale house. I can’t say I remember too much of that time but what I do remember is the vibe I got from him. I liked being around him. His vibe was friendly with a playful sarcastic touch. Always smirking as the Olmedas do. He was playful with me and shared in word banter as siblings do. And I think that’s one of the things that was special about him. He was a brother to one, but family to many. His personality spoke “man of the house” or “brother to all” and that’s something that will always leave a mark on those who knew him, whether close or not. It’s funny, my mom doesn’t tend to really remember friends she’s only met once or years ago, but today I was speaking to her about Luis and she said “oh yes, I remember him. He was very friendly and Jessica introduced me to him as her brother. I remember.” He left such a mark on people he knew that his presence is ever lasting. Such a mark to leave is a beautiful thing and how lucky we all were to know him. Beautiful souls are few in many and the universe gained another beauty. I’m glad to have known you, Luis. And I’m happy that the last memory I have of you is smiling and laughing. Your memory is immortal and so is your presence. Rest In Peace, Luis. 

Luis words cant Express how much you meant to me. You were my brother from day one. When I was jobless and had no money you always made sure I had something to eat and you always looked out for me. I will always remember the times we used to ride in your impala with jerms and adi smoking laughing and just living life. The time we went to Cleveland for jessi 15 birthday party. I wish you would of told me the pain you had inside. I would of took the trip to go see you. I can remember how funny you were when you used to get your mom aggravated lol and your sister lol. I will love you always my brother from giving me my first job at the sub shop to sneaking in movie theaters with the crew to watch movies to just sleeping over your house on the weekend.  It hurts my heart that you are gone but I know you are with jesus now looking down on us smiling.. I pray God took the pain away from your heart. I'm sorry I didnt keep in touch with as much as I should.. I love you my nigga I promise to be as righteous as I can in your name and make you proud.. I will always love you my nigga

Everyday waking again feels like a nightmare knowing you aren't here. Mommy and I can only hold each other up untill the day we are able to be a whole family again. I know as you watch over us you will keep us safe because you always protected us. Anyone who knew you knew that you loved your family, but nothing compares to our tripod. We where your world and you ours and untill we are together again our world will never be complete. We love you. Eternally.

Luis was a great friend of mine. The first time I saw him we really didn’t talk much that’s until we both enrolled into the same program at school. After that we created a good friendship bond to one another. Sometimes during school we would go grab lunch together or maybe a beer here and there.  Let us celebrate his time he spent on this earth and remember him for his happiest memories. He was an awesome friend and will be truly missed.

Luis was a classmate in the Nuclear Medicine program at Tri-C. He was one of the smartest students in our class. His willingness to help assist a classmate, give an encouraging word, and help me with difficult subjects will never be forgotten! He will be greatly missed by myself and our fellow classmates!

My dearest friend, 
I thank God everyday for meeting you, you will never how much you meant to me. I always told you , that you were family, my little brother. We laughed, we cried and we even shared the same frustration of life. I still remember the tears we shared on our days of graduations, that we finally made it! I will cherish every moment we had together and want you to know that you will never be forgotten!
