In Loving Memory of Marcus Terrell Driggins Jr.

Marcus Terrell Driggins Jr., affectionately known as "Markie" by his family and loved ones, was born on December 5, 1996, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Marcus Driggins Sr. and Michelle Owens.

Marcus attended primary school in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District and the Euclid City School District before graduating from Glenville High School. After high school, he began his career working at Burger King and the Cleveland Clinic. He later joined Lincoln Electric before finding his professional home at Howmet Aerospace, where he made history as the youngest Black union representative for UAW Local 1059. Marcus took great pride in advocating for his coworkers and serving his community with integrity and dedication.

At a young age, Marcus accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized at Good Shepherd Baptist Church in Cleveland, Ohio. His faith remained an important part of his life, and he faithfully served on the church's deacon board.

Marcus was a loving son, devoted brother, loyal friend, and, above all, a proud and present father. His greatest joy was his son, Chase. The bond they shared was unbreakable, and Marcus cherished every moment spent with him. His love, guidance, and unwavering presence will forever remain in Chase's heart.

On Wednesday, July 22, 2026, Marcus was called home at the age of 29, leaving behind countless family members, friends, coworkers, and loved ones who will forever treasure his memory and the impact he made on their lives.

Marcus was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Josline; his father, Marcus Driggins Sr.; and his aunts, Regina and Druscila.

He leaves to cherish his memory and carry on his legacy his beloved son, Chase; his loving mother, Michelle Owens; his devoted sister, Jasmine; and a host of extended family members, friends, and loved ones.

Though Marcus's time on earth was far too short, his faith, strength, leadership, compassion, and love for his family will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know him. His legacy will live on through the lives he touched and the love he shared so freely.
