I met Margit in September 1990. Together with Bill, Doris, Frank and Paul she visited my parents Karl and Gisela Steinbach in Apolda in Germany. Margit and Gisela were cousins.
Margit and Bill visited us again at Pentecost 1996 in Apolda. I like to remember the wonderful time we spent together.
Several times a year my parents and I spoke to Margit on the phone and informed them about news in the family.
I will always keep Margit in good memory.

Margit was my mother's, Gisela Steinbach, cousin.
With pleasure we remember August 2001.
We were lucky to visit Margit and Bill on the occasion of our trip to the USA and we could stay with them for a few days.
Together we visited Doris and Paul and we went on some excursions.
Margit and Bill showed us Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the City of Cleveland and Elyria, Clay pigeon shooting, J.Glenn-Research-Center and the Niagara-Falls.
Since then we have always enjoyed talking to Margit by phone.
Margit was always loving and warm.
We always will keep her in good memory.

Though I've never met Mrs. Eiken, I'm sure she was a beautiful soul as evidenced by the life her daughter lives. Kind, loving, devoted to God is how I describe Doris. The apple never falls too far from the tree. What a wonderful mother you were Margit. May you rest in the peace of our risen Lord. ✝️💖
