Maria D. Calderon

Maria Dolores Calderon, age 88, of Cleveland, Ohio passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at home surrounded by family. Maria was born on March 3, 1936, in Caguas, Puerto Rico to parents Marcelo Calderon and Providencia Diaz (deceased).

Maria was the loving wife of Jose A. Rios; devoted and loving mother of Joseph Serrano (deceased), Nelly Gonzalez (Sergio), Jeannette Ortiz (Jacinto), and Brenda Serrano (Richard); loving grandmother of Joseph Lee Serrano (Erica), Desire Serrano (deceased), Alexis Gonzalez (Maria), Emanuel Gonzalez (Autumn), Brenjinelly Gonzalez, Alexander Ortiz (Ileana), Betzalee Ortiz (John), Keven Barrera (Cella), Kenneth Barrera (Kiara), and Anthony Winfrey Jr. She was a great-grandmother to 28 and great-great-grandmother to 4; she was an aunt, great-aunt and friend to many.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication to God, and family.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 from 4PM-8PM at Craciun Berry Funeral Home, 7200 Detroit Avenue, Cleveland, where Celebration of Life services will be held on Thursday at 10AM. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, 3607 Pearl Rd., Cleveland, OH 44109.
