MARIA SANTIAGO RODRIGUEZ was born on March 18, 1956, in Yauco, Puerto Rico, to Herminia Rodriguez and Jose Santiago. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones. Maria's life was a testament to the power of love, kindness, and resilience, which were qualities she embodied throughout her journey.
From a young age, Maria was known for her caring nature and her ability to bring joy to those around her. She had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel special, whether through her warm smile, her rapid-fire style of talking, which would catch anyone's attention, her thoughtful gestures, or her unwavering support. Maria was a devoted daughter, wife, sister in law, step-mother, grandmother, and friend, always putting the needs of others before her own.
Maria's passion for life was evident in everything she did. She cherished her family deeply and took great pride in nurturing her loved ones. Her home was a sanctuary filled with love. Her spirit of generosity and compassion touched the lives of many, and her legacy of kindness will continue to inspire those who knew her.
Maria is survived by her beloved life partner of 25 years, Otilio Marquez Sr, step-children Otilio Jr, Stephen Sr, and Melissa, grandchildren Stephen Jr, Shaun, Pete, Isaiah, Bryson and Lucas. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will resonate throughout generations.
Maria Santiago Rodriguez will be deeply missed, but her love and light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
A service will be held for Maria on July 7, 2025, 5 pm-7 pm, at Craciun Berry Funeral Home, 7200 Detroit Ave. Cleveland, Ohio 44102. Friends and family are invited to pay their respect.
