Mary E Youngblood

Mary E Youngblood, age 87, of Cleveland, Ohio passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022. Mary was born June 1, 1935 in Akron, Ohio to Robert Sherfield and Estelle Weems. Mary was one of fourteen children.

Mary was an employee of Barmetics Industry, Randustrial Inc., Value City, and Metro Hospital, from which she retired.

Mary loved gardening, baking, reading, cooking, and listening to music, such as Dionne Warwick, Aretha Franklin, Sarah Vonne, and Al Green, to name a few.

Mary converted to Islam in 2021 and remained true to her faith until her death.

Left to cherish Mary's memory are son Robert Youngblood, sisters Carol Gray and Berdaree Friend, grandchildren Shyara Malika Hasan, Samadia Amirah Hasan, and Aaliyah Fatima Hasan, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relative and friends.

A janaza prayer/funeral service for Mary will be held Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at 11:00 AM at First Cleveland Mosque, 3613 E. 131st Street, Cleveland, OH 44120. Following the janaza prayer/funeral service will be an interment at 1:00 PM at Crown Hill Cemetery, 8592 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, OH 44087.
