Born in Cleveland, Michael was the beloved son of the late Patrick Jack Boyle and Lois May (Wells) Boyle. Throughout his life, he was known for his compassionate heart, generous spirit, quick wit, and unforgettable sense of humor. Michael had a gift for making people feel welcome, valued, and loved. Whether through a joke, a smile, or a few encouraging words, he had a remarkable way of brightening even the darkest days.
Michael was the devoted husband and best friend of 17 years to Regina Pawlowski, whose love and companionship brought him great happiness. He was a proud and loving father to Michelle Boyle Lopez (Ryan) and a cherished grandfather to Ryan, Olivia, and Thomas Lopez whom he loved fiercely and was so proud of their accomplishments. Nothing brought him greater joy than spending time with his family and watching his grandchildren grow.
He is also survived by his dear siblings, Susan Boyle, Patrick Boyle (Sharon), and Timothy Boyle; his beloved nephew, Patrick "PJ" Boyle (Rhiannon); his niece, Lorn Schultz (Matthew); his mother-in-law, Kathleen Pawlowski; his sister-in-law, Suzette Johnson (Brent); his brother-in-law, Richard Pawlowski III; and many extended family members and friends who were blessed by his presence. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Richard Pawlowski Jr.
Michael proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, carrying the values of service, loyalty, and dedication throughout his life. Yet those who knew him best will remember not only his service, but the way he served others every day—with kindness, understanding, and a willingness to help whenever he could.
To know Michael was to know someone who could make you laugh when you needed it most. His humor was effortless, his timing impeccable, and his heart immense. He faced life's challenges with courage and optimism, often reminding those around him with his favorite saying, "I'm going to be alright." Those words became more than a phrase—they were a reflection of his resilience, faith, and determination to find hope in every circumstance.
Michael's absence leaves a profound void, but his family takes comfort in the countless memories he created, the laughter he inspired, and the love he shared so freely. His gentle spirit, warm smile, and unwavering devotion to family and friends will never be forgotten.
A graveside service with Military Honors are pending at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
Though our hearts are broken, we find peace in knowing that Michael's love remains with us always. And in his own words, the words that carried him through life and now comfort those he leaves behind: "I'm going to be alright."
