EDWARD "SKIP" BALLARD was born July 19, 1943 to the union of the late Ebbie and Cora Abner. Skip was a proud graduate of East Technical High School. He received an Honorable discharge after serving four years in the U.S. Air Force. Later Skip graduated from The University of Illinois.Edward is survived by his brother, Randy G. Abner; cousins Cheryl Gary, Adrienne Rowe, William F. Ballard, Jr., Charles Tedder, Charles Ballard, Aldine Ballard, Stephan Roe and a host of other relatives and friends.Edward transitioned peacefully from this life on May 11, 2017.
