Ivory Joe Hunter Sr., 62 passed away peacefully November 18, 2017. A native of Stewart, AL, he retired from the U.S. Army, and was employed as a Medical Supply Technician for the Veterans Administration Hospital for many years; he was the Proprietor of Baines and Hunter Funeral Service since 1999.Ivory was amember of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
He is survived by beloved wife Emma J. Hunter, loving children; April (Michael) Freeman of Augusta, GA, Ivory Joe Hunter II, 3 grandchildren, 5 siblings, 3 Godchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
