Jeffrey Alvin Sims passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017. He was a native of Cleveland, but currently residing in Washington, DC. He was self-employed, loved spending time with his children, had a passion for music, and enjoyed cars and basketball. He leaves to cherish his memory, his two loving children, Aivery and Ivory Sims and their mother, Ashely Darrington of Cleveland Heights; his beloved parents, Alvin Sims of Cleveland, and Joylyn Winter (Stefan Zanders) of Maryland; stepfather, Michael Schwegler of Florida; dear grandparents Maureen Samuels (James Samuels) of East Cleveland, and Cedric Winter of Florida; siblings, Tolando and Takesha Byers of Alabama; Maya, Jonathan andSydney Schwegler all of Maryland, and Antoinette Sims of Cleveland; several aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins and friends.
