Nettie M. James was born in Cuba, Alabama on August 9, 1931 to Booker T. Seals Sr., and Marie Seals. She worked as a nursing assistant and was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church where she was a member of the Missionary Society and the Mother's Board.In her pastime Nettie loved to cook, travel and visit casino's.She was preceded in death by parents, 1 grandchild, and siblings and their spouses;Leroy (Clara)Sturdivant, Booker(Sarah) Seals Jr., Earlie B.(Beulah) Seals, Pete (Joyce) Seals, J.D. Seals, Phillip Seals and Juanita Seals.She leaves to cherish her memory beloved children; Delores (Lawrence) Wren of Shelby, NC, Joe Seals, Jo Alice (Lee) Tucker, Shirley(Byron Sr. deceased) Wray,14 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 2 greatgreat grandchildren, siblings, Dorothy Seals, David Seals, Clara (EJ) Byrd, Barbara Seals, one sister in law, Annie Ruth Sealsand a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
