NICOLAE BRATU, age 76, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2026. Beloved father of Mirela Ciocan (Catalin) and Simona Stamin (Cristi); loving grandfather of Miruna Schroeder (Jonathan), Alessandra Stamin, and Emily Stamin; dear brother of the late Florica and Constantin Bratu; uncle of George, Cristi, and Nuti.
Nicolae was a devoted father and a doting grandfather who loved his family deeply—they were everything to him. He was known for his generous and humble nature, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. A hardworking man throughout his life, Nicolae was friendly to everyone he met and found great joy in traveling to spend time with family and friends, never forgetting his roots and the place he always carried in his heart.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, February 25 from 4-7 in the Corrigan Craciun funeral home, 14768 Lorain Rd. Funeral Service Thursday, February 26, at 11 in Buna Vestire Romanian Orthodox Church, 7140 Fitch Rd Olmsted Township 44138. Interment will follow at Woodvale Cemetery 7535 Engle Rd. Middleburg Heights, OH.
