Hello Mary Jane, Vicki, and Barbara,

Yes, life passes us by all too quickly; but fortunately we have SPECIAL, personal memories of wonderful times we shared with your mother.
As I close my eyes to remember, I can still hear your mother's voice.
Now has come the time to bid Tavia farewell:

GOODBYE, Dearest Tavia, GOODBYE-----
With much affection

Sarah, Rebecca, and Family,

I’m so very sorry for the loss of your dear Nemma! I feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to visit her with you and see how much joy the both of you and your children brought to her. I have great memories chatting with her about getting manicures and favorite nail polish colors. She was always beaming in every photo of her with her great grandkids. She was a wonderful person and her memory will live on through you and your families.

Love,
Jillian

Rebecca, I just heard of your precious grandma’s passing. I am so sorry for your family’s loss. What a great lady she was! I so admired the deep friendship she and my mom, Nancy Golden shared. I just know my mom was there to take her hand!! Octavia was always so kind to me too. Please know that your family is in my prayers. You were so good to her and she knew it. Bragged about you all the time!❤️

Dear Mary Jane, Vicki and Barbara,

These past few days, SSSOOOO many happy memories of your mom have flooded my thoughts. The ones most prominent are of your mom's kindness, smile, laugh, generosity and of course her mamaliga. She was the "queen of mamaliga"!!! NO ONE made it like your mom! I remember when my parents were living at Westlake Village and Mimi, my kids and myself would fly to Cleveland to visit. Your mom always wanted to be sure we enjoyed a good Romanian meal and would come with trays of mamaliga and sarmale. SUPER DELICIOUS!!! Mimi and I would laugh that she always brought enough to feed 50!

Your mom will always hold a special place in my heart. I imagine the "card group" welcoming her in Heaven where they are all joyful once again!

Sending lots of love, hugs and prayers,
Marilyn (Romcea)

Octavia's face, was always the face of love. She was generous with her home, her family, the Romanian events of the Popa Family's life. She was kind, funny, fun, smart about what is important in life. I will never forget her beautiful accent & the loving way she said my name "R R r r uut t ". All of her family & friends are in my heart & mind at this special time. I saw the sky was startling clear & full of stars & a HUGE red & peach 3/4 Moon low on the horizon..I didn't know you had just left for heaven! David & I transplanted a baby White Oak in our front yard, on 7/5/2020. We will always remember this was Octavia's special day. In 48 years it will be 50 ft. tall & drop it's first acorns. Lord please bless & keep Octavia's life forever in heaven & comfort her family and friends. In Jesus' Holy Holy Holy Name.

I remember living next to you many many years ago. Your Mom used to watch me and my sister Shirley when my Mom went back to work. Your Mom used to take us many places. I specially remember her driving us to school and dances. It was so nice seeing all the pictures of her life. I especially liked the 4th of July picture. My sympathy to all —she will be missed by many.
