Petra Santiago, age 94, of Euclid, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, March 29, 2023. Petra was born in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico. Daughter of Benito and Maria (nee Huertas) Ortiz (both deceased).
Dearly beloved wife of 50 years to Manuel Santiago (deceased), devoted mother to Manuel Santiago Jr., Ruth Santiago, Eneida Pagan (Frank), Orlando Santiago (Gladys), Aurea Santiago-Vuyancih (Patrick) and Teresita Santiago. Loving grandmother, great grandmother and great, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. Petra was a humble soul who always put others first before herself. She was a devoted Christian and a long-time member of many Catholic Associations. Her two main focuses in life were love of God and love of family. Without fail, she always opened her home as well as her heart to those who needed a helping hand. She had a positive effect on so many lives and will be missed. She has earned her wings in heaven. Our new guardian angel you will be!
Visitation on Monday, April 3, 2023 from 4-8 at Craciun Berry Funeral Home 7200 Detroit Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44102. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Sagrada Family Catholic Church 7719 Detroit Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44102.
Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
