

Prudy’s life was a testament to her unwavering kindness, love, humor, support, and generosity that she extended to all of God’s creation. A lifelong member of the United Freewill Baptist Church, Prudy lived her faith through her actions and her dedication to her community. She was a beacon of light for her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her nieces Sue Hatfield, Charlene Miller, Toni Flint, Ina Adkins and Vera Adkins, nephews Brian Hatfield, and John Jr Adkins, a sister-in-law Mary Lou Adkins. Prudy’s life was further enriched by the joy of her nine great nieces and nephews. Her Lifelong friendship with Joann Stidham spanned over six decades, a true example of enduring companionship.
Prudy was welcomed into the arms of the Lord by her mother Elsie Adkins, father Donald Mason Adkins, brother John Adkins, and sister Lake Beck who preceded her in passing.
Her earthly hobbies, which included cooking, baking, and engaging in crossword puzzles, were a reflection of her appreciation of the simple pleasures in life and her gratitude for the nourishment of both body and mind.
The family invites all who knew Prudy to attend the visitation on Monday, February 12, 2024, from 4pm-8pm at Craciun Berry Funeral Home 7200 Detroit Ave.,Cleveland, Ohio 44130 to honor a life so beautifully lived and a soul so deeply loved. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 11 AM. Rev. Eugene Crouch officiating.
In this time of mourning, we also celebrate the grace and joy that Prudy bestowed upon us. Her spirit, a gentle whisper of peace and love, will forever resonate within the hearts of those she touched.
