Raquel M. Rosa, (nee Torres) age 85. Devoted wife of Pedro Rosa-Garcia (deceased). Beloved mother of Alex Rosa (deceased), Pedro Rosa, and Myrna Rosa. Cherished grandmother of Victoria Troche and Gracie Rosa. Loving sister to Elsie Infante (deceased). Dearest daughter of Ruben Torres and Carmen Lamboy (both deceased). Dear aunt, cousin and friend.
Raquel grew up in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico. She then graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico in Ponce, with a degree in Education, and taught grade school for many years in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico.
The Rosa family then moved to Cleveland, and she often traveled back to Puerto Rico to visit loved ones and up-keeping the family’s property there. She loved cooking, gardening, and animals, especially her dear cat —Cuco. Raquel was beloved by all. She was a beautiful and noble person. She always said her family was her pride and joy.
Family will receive friends from 2pm-6pm on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at Craciun Berry Funeral Home 7200 Detroit Ave, Cleveland, Ohio 44102. A Funeral Service will follow on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 10am at the Funeral Home. Burial will occur at Riverside Cemetery shortly afterwards.
