Ray Ray and I went back over 30 years. First from the neighborhood then later on when we was down state for some years.  Ray was like Superman when he was younger but never a bully always had a heart of gold. Even forgave the chump who shot him nine times. The last time I saw him on the street was New Year's of '95 we were all at a party together and had a blast. Then in 2007 I saw him again we were in county together and talked through the door slot for an hour or two. He was my amigo and he will be missed. Rest in peace, Ray Ray 💪🙏

In Loving Memory of Ray

Ray was my bonus son Scott’s grandfather, and I know Scott is really hurting right now. My heart goes out to him and to everyone who loved Ray.
  I didn’t spend a lot of time with Ray personally, but whenever I saw him, he treated me like family. He would embrace me with a hug and kiss on the cheek. It was always a pleasure to see him. He was the kind of person who made you feel welcome without even trying—always positive, full of love, and genuinely caring. Just good people. The kind who brightened a room simply by being in it.
  Ray had a special bond with my husband, Nino—loved him like his own flesh and blood. Nino didn’t call him Ray… he called him Pops. They are both Scorpios 🦂, and when they were together, they called themselves the “Scorpion Kings.” They shared more than memories; they shared a soul-deep bond, the kind Scorpios are known for. Although my husband won’t be attending the funeral, their bond isn’t broken. It lives on, beyond distance and beyond this life.
   I believe, if Pops could speak today, he’d ask everyone who loved him—and everyone he loved—to come together. Not just to attend his funeral, but to celebrate his life. To set aside any differences, and honor what he stood for: love, unity, and warmth that lives on in each of us.
   I’m so sorry for your loss, my heart breaks for all of you. As painful as this is, I hope you find peace in knowing Ray and Raymond are together again, watching over you with love.

My deepest condolences to Nancy and all of his children and grandchildren! I know he will be missed! Ray was 1 of a kind for sure! And now he’ll be reunited with his son and his sister and his Mother that I know he missed! He talked about them all the time, especially his son Raymond. I pray he’s rejoicing with them now!
