Renata was born in Frankfort, Germany, the daughter of the late Curtis E. and Betty Jean (Hilton) Crowder. She is the beloved wife of 40 years to Joseph; loving sister of Curtis (Joann) Crowder, Tina (Steve) Metz and Samantha Crowder and sister-in-law of Maryann Zbydniewski, Dan Zbydniewski, Andrea (Bill) Bolton, Robert (Maryann) Zbydniewski and Lori Zbydniewski; adored aunt of Daniel Crowder, Holly (Jonny) Boyd, Jordan (Staci) Metz, Casey Bolton, Kyle Bolton, Tess Zbydniewski, Steven Zbydniewski, Dan Zbydniewski, Katie (Drew) Shaw and Krystal (Brian) Bechtel.
For 34 years, she served as a dedicated claims manager at The Chisholm Agency, where her integrity and compassion left a lasting impression on all who worked with her. A devoted partner to Joe, together they explored the country, with the American Southwest capturing her heart most deeply. The rugged beauty of Joshua Tree National Park held a special place in her soul—both for its landscape and what it symbolized: resilience, strength, and quiet grace.
She had a deep appreciation for the unique and meaningful—especially reflected in her love for jewelry, particularly turquoise, which echoed her vibrant spirit.
To those who knew her, she was loving, loyal, and truly one of a kind. Humble and kind, she never hesitated to go out of her way to help a friend in need. Her presence touched the hearts of many, and her legacy of warmth and generosity will not be forgotten.
Celebration of Life services for Renata are pending and will be announced.
