Born in Cleveland, Ricardo was the son of the late Pedro Rojas and Carmen Sanchez Rojas. He was the beloved husband of 43 years to the late Anna Rojas, who passed away on June 19, 2022. Their love was a beautiful and lasting bond, and Ricardo carried that love with him every day until they were reunited.
Ricardo was a devoted father to his sons, Ricardo Jr. and Antonio Rojas. He was also a loving brother to Emerita (Rita) Rojas (deceased), Pedro Rojas II (Nidia), Millie Feliciano (Bennie), and Rosa Rojas, and a cherished uncle, cousin, and dear friend to so many.
To know Ricardo was to know a genuinely good man. He was friendly, approachable, easygoing, funny, considerate, respectful, and responsible. He was a man who never needed to be the center of attention. He was simply comfortable being himself—down to earth, kindhearted, and always ready to share a laugh. He made people feel welcome and accepted, and his presence brought a sense of warmth and peace wherever he went.
Ricardo found joy in the things that brought people together. He loved family gatherings, barbecues, and reunions filled with food, laughter, stories, and memories. He loved the beauty of beaches and sunsets and had a special fascination with space and NASA rocket launches. There was something about looking up at the sky and watching a rocket rise into the heavens that captured his imagination.
And then there was Anna.
Ricardo and Anna shared 43 years of marriage and a lifetime of memories. He loved salsa dancing with her, and those moments together reflected the joy and companionship they shared. Even after Anna's passing, her place in his heart never changed. Their love remained a part of who he was, and his family finds comfort knowing that Ricardo and Anna are together again.
Ricardo leaves behind a legacy that cannot be measured in words or possessions, but in the love he gave and the memories he created. His sons, siblings, nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends will remember his laughter, his gentle spirit, his sense of humor, his kindness, and the simple way he made people feel at home.
He will be deeply missed, but he will never be forgotten. Every family barbecue, every reunion, every beautiful sunset, every salsa song, and every rocket launch will carry a little piece of Ricardo with it.
Until we meet again, Dad, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. You were loved more than words can say, and you will be missed more than words can express.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Michael Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 3114 Scranton Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44109. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brook Park, Ohio,
