Born in Cleveland to the late Elmer Plotz and Victoria Plotz nee Travinski; beloved brother of Robert Plotz (Barbara), Donna Valek (Pete, deceased) and Melinda Laba (Kenneth); adored uncle of Debbie O'Neal (Mark), Denise Huffman (Mike), Robert Plotz Jr. (Renee), Greg Plotz, Steven (SueAnn) Valek, Christine (James) Greathouse and Pamela (Ben) Karpen, Dawn (Dan) Downey, Sandra Laba and Michael Laba. Special friend to Mary.
Richard spent most of his time on Lake Erie, fishing with his friends and hanging out at Joe's gas station on 130th Street.
Richard will be greatly missed by his many friends and family.
All services for Richard will be private. He will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery.
