Robert Summers was the eighth child of twelve, born to the union of the late Arthur and Lizzie Mae Summers in Cleveland, Ohio on October 8, 1958. He was affectionately known as "Bobby".
Bobby attended Cleveland Public Schools. He worked his first job at Park Here as a parking
attendant. He later pursued his own interest as an Entrepreneur.
Bobby was always about fitness, he was either riding his bikes, which he loved, or running with his
dogs, working out at the park or in his yard while listening to his favorite artists Tupac, Biggie
and Mystikal. He loved Cadillacs and Cowboy movies and can't leave out that fresh fried Tilapia.
Bobby made Cleveland his hometown, he was a neighborhood kind of guy and everyone knew him. He
enjoyed sitting around the neighborhood playing dominos, throwing horseshoes, or concentrating hard
at beating his opponent in a game of chess. In the early mornings or evenings he enjoyed listening
to Creflo Dollar and TD Jaks.
Bobby later became a resident of Avenue at Lyndhurst Care & Rehabilitation Center where he
transitioned peacefully on February 16, 2023 at 10:30 am.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Pamela; children, Loretta, Juan, Tasha, Jaron, Robin and Netta. His
17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. His brothers & sisters, Larry (Sue, proceeded in
death), Donald (Fatou), Lillian ( Jerome), Gloria, Stanley ( Jennifer). Four brothers and two
sisters preceded him in death. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Bobby was a "Legend" of his own kind and will truly be missed.
