Samuel William Regan, age 89, of Lakewood, Ohio passed away on Monday, March 29, 2021. Samuel was born April 6, 1931 in Cleveland, OH.

Dearly beloved husband for 63 to Jaylene, loving father of Debi Koch (Mark), Vickie (Greg) Udics, and Bernice (Jeff) Panzar, dearest grandfather of Kevin Koch (Colleen), Robert Buehner, Samantha Buehner (deceased), Shawn (Mary) Buehner, SSgt. Timmy Panzar (deceased), great grandfather of Gunner Buehner, Rory Buehner, Sawyer Buehner, dear brother of Andy (deceased) (Maria) and Pete (Claire, deceased), and dearest friend of many. Sam was a postal clerk worker for 47 years. He was a US Army Veteran serving as a medic during the Korean Conflict where he received two Bronze Service Medals for meritorious service and Valor on the battlefield. He was a lifelong member of St. Epremte Albanian Orthodox Cathedral. Sam belonged to three Streetcar Clubs. Having a passion for riding Street Cars’ he often brought his three children along on his adventures.

FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS SATURDAY, APRIL 4, 2021, FROM 11 UNTIL 12 NOON AT CORRIGAN CRACIUN FUNERAL HOME 14768 LORAIN AVE., WHERE FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD SATURDAY 12 NOON. Rev. Fr. John Loejos officiating. Committal Services with full Military Honors, will be held Saturday at St. Theodosius Cemetery, 8200 Biddulph Rd. Brooklyn, Ohio 44144

Sam's life was a beautiful example of how to live. Sam was a loving, caring and compassionate husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He loved his community and his neighbors. Sam had great smiles & hugs. Our condolences to Jay and family.

Dad, you were the best! Thank you for everything you did for Vickie, Bernice and myself. You taught us about life's ups and downs. You helped raise our children into great adults. I bet you never though Timmy and Kevin would be potty trained 😁
They all ended up with your brilliant mind and great personality. We couldn't ask for anything more. Please give Sami and Timmy a hug from Aunt Debi and tell yiayia my garden is still doing well. I love you dad, you will be in my prayers everyday as I thank God for giving us 90 years with you❤

The best dad you could ever ask for. He's taught my sisters and myself respect ,empathy and work values and so much more. Not only did he teach his three daughters this also taught his five grandchildren the same thing.
