Sandra Jean Yuhas

Sandra was a deeply devoted mother to her son, Joshua Rouse, who was the center of her world and her greatest joy. She was a cherished sister to Carol Sammon (George), David Yuhas, Debbie Zelenka (Mike), Robert Yuhas, and Nancy Mathis (Pete), and was reunited in peace with her sister, Barbara Clausing. She was also a loving aunt, cousin, and loyal friend whose presence brought light and comfort to so many.

Sandra had a truly beautiful spirit—bubbly, upbeat, and full of warmth. She had a way of lifting others with her laughter and kindness, leaving lasting impressions on everyone she met. She found joy in life’s simple and meaningful moments: baking for those she loved, preparing meals that brought people together, and sharing laughter over episodes of MAS*H with Josh.

Music was one of Sandra’s greatest passions, especially the band Queen. One of her most treasured memories was having her picture taken with Freddie Mercury—a moment she held close to her heart. She loved attending concerts, embracing the energy and joy they brought her.

Sandra and Josh shared a special bond, filled with adventures and memories they built together. Whether it was spending a fun-filled day at Cedar Point or traveling across the country, their time together was always filled with love and laughter. Among the places she and Josh visited, Arizona held a special place in their hearts. She also found great joy in musicals, which reflected her love for storytelling, music, and emotion.

More than anything, Sandra will be remembered for her loving heart, her bright spirit, and the deep care she showed to those around her. She gave freely of herself and made the world a warmer place just by being in it.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Sandra on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Corrigan Craciun Funeral Home, 14768 Lorain Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44111.

Though she will be deeply missed, Sandra’s love lives on in the hearts of those who knew her, and her memory will forever be a source of comfort and strength.
