She was born in Cleveland, the daughter of the late William and Nancy (Cuccia) Millay. Sharon is the beloved wife of 46 years to Stephen J. Matusiak Sr; loving mother of Robert (Tanya) Matusiak and Stephen Matusiak Jr.; cherished grandmother of Robert Matusiak, Alexis Matusiak, Chelsea Matusiak, Alex Matusiak, Preston Matusiak, Hailey Arnold, Ashley Arnold and great-grandson Karter Salopek; dear sister of Robert Millay (deceased), Nancy (Rick) Farr, Brenda Irvin and Paul Millay; adored aunt and friend of many.
Grandma was more than just my grandmother; she was a wife, a mother, and she was my best friend, and of that a friend to all. My confidante, and our family’s biggest cheerleader. She always had a smile on her face and a warm hug waiting for us all. A smile that lit up every room she walked in. I'll never forget the countless hours we spent laughing and reminiscing her stories of growing up. She taught me the importance of hard work, kindness, and the value of family. She was always there for me, and for everyone she knew, offering wise advice and a listening ear when I needed it most. Grandma, thank you for everything you did, and will continue to do as our angel above. Your love will forever be a part of me, and those hearts you touched in your 64 years in this world. We will forever cherish the memories we shared with you. Rest in peace, Grandma our beloved angel. We love you.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 from 4PM-8PM with a funeral service at 7PM at Craciun Berry Funeral Home, 7200 Detroit Avenue, Cleveland.
