Thelma Evelyn Smith

Loving wife of 65 years to Charles "Bussie" Smith Sr. Devoted mother to Nancy Tomblin and Chuck Smith. Grandmother to Tracy (Joe), Tiffany (Kemo), Great Grandmother to Kristina, Nicole, Jolene, JJ, Zack, Ariana and Jordan. Great Great Grandmother to Jayceon, Isaiah, Bryson, Joshua, Torvi and Emberly Evelyn, sister to Brother Eddie and sister in law to Elizabeth Bo and Cecil Colegrove, Aunt and Great Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Evelyn loved to shop at various department stores and buy things for her family and friends. She later learned how to shop online from the comfort of home. Evelyn cherished her flower garden and paid close attention to having a well kept yard. When able, Evelyn loved to attend church services and sing church hymns. She was a avid reader of the bible and frequently asked questions to learn more about the bible and our God. The most significant trait Evelyn exhibited was her constant talking and thinking about all of her family, past and present. She never forgot anyone and knew the smallest of details about each one. She enjoyed sending and receiving birthday and holiday greeting cards, even most recently from an ICU bed. Her memory will live forever in the hearts and minds of all who loved her.

A visitation for Evelyn will be held Wednesday, October 26, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Craciun Berry Funeral Home, 7200 Detroit Ave, Cleveland, Ohio 44102. A funeral service will occur Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 11:30 AM, 7200 Detroit Ave, Cleveland, Ohio 44102, followed by burial at West Park Cemetery, 3942 Ridge Road, Cleveland, OH.
