A proud graduate of St. Edward High School (Class of 1983), Theodore’s life was rooted in his faith. He was a devoted believer in Jesus Christ, whose grace guided him as a dedicated member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. He spent his life working with his hands, serving as a dedicated Iron Worker with Local 17 for 15 years, followed by 15 years as a Millwright with Local 979 at Cleveland Cliffs.
Theodore’s greatest pride, however, was his family. He often told his children, Ashley and Aaron, that they were the greatest thing to ever happen to him. A man who would drop everything to help a friend or family member in need, especially if something needed fixing.
His compassion extended to all creatures. He dearly loved his cats Tipsy, Jean, and Cookie and spent his days feeding the neighborhood birds and squirrels, even leaving food out at night for the raccoons, opossums, and skunks. A true Clevelander, he remained a loyal fan of his local sports teams, regardless of how many times they "ruined his day."
Theodore is survived by his beloved children, Ashley (Phil Adkins) Horak and Aaron Horak; his grandson, Jaxson Adkins; his sisters, Anna (deceased) (Pat Mullee), and Katrina (Tim McDonald); and his former wife and dear friend, Lisa (nee Baer) including her daughter Lillyana. He had so much love for his best friend Michelle Weathington. Ted was the cherished Uncle of Robert Gabor, Britney (Matt McElwain), Timothy, Cole, and Jennifer McDonald, Patricia and Theodore Mullee. A beloved brother, father, grandfather, cousin, brother in law and a friend to so many. We will always carry his memory in our hearts; his legacy will forever live on. Rest in heaven, tell all the family we said Hello.
