Tomasita Otero Cancel

TOMASITA OTERO CANCEL, age 77, passed away Sunday March 23, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Benjamin Cruz; loving mother of Maria Cruz, Marisol Cruz, and Benjamin Cruz and the late Jose, Antonio, and Josue; grandmother and great grandmother; sister of Jose Louis Otero, and Angelo Otero (Margarita); aunt of many.

Until she retired Tomasita worked for the city of Vega Baja, Puerto Rico. She leaves behind many family members and friends both in the U.S. and in Puerto Rico. She loved animals and was a member of the Pentecostal Church in Vaga Baja.

Come celebrate Tomasita’s life Thursday, March 27 from 5-7pm in the Craciun Berry Funeral home, 7200 Detroit Ave. funeral service in the funeral home Friday at 11am. Interment Riverside Cemetery
