Trina Marie Mapson-Nickerson

Trina Marie Mapson-Nickerson was born July 25, 1961 to Warren Lee and Doris Marion White, Trina was the sixth of seven children.

Trina accepted Christ at an early age and was an advent choir member with an Angelic voice.

Trina attended Cleveland Heights High School where she graduated in 1980. Trina worked at Hot Sauce Williams, as a bartender for many years, while there she met the Love of her Life Aaron Nickerson, Sr.

On July 28, 2001 Trina & Aaron was joined in Holy Matrimony, and to this union two children were born, Aaron Nickerson Jr and Antoine Mapson. Trina was a dedicated wife and mother and grandmother.

Trina later joined Cleveland Heights/University Heights Board of Education, where she started as a lunchroom supervisor, then she became a bus monitor and later a bus driver for many years until she retired.

After retirement she hit the road with her husband Aaron, their goals were to visit every state. Trina’s love for her family was everything. Especially spending time with her grandchildren. Trina was the Pillar of the Family Unity (the glue that held it all together)

Trina was also loving known as T.T.S.S. (LOL family). She was so loved by many, her smile would light up a room and her voice would conquer the space, when she spoke.

Trina was preceded in death by both of her parents, Warren Lee and Doris White. Four sisters, Melea Williams, Charlene Howard, Linda Howard and Minnie Johnson. Grandson; Antoine Mapson Jr. her sister in law Lelia Ann Nickerson.

Trina leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband Aaron Nickerson Sr. two sons Antoine Mapson and Aaron Nickerson Jr, one sister Queen Esther Smith (Daniel) one brother Willie James Mapson Jr., two sister-in-laws Betty and Nakia Nickerson, five grandchildren; Ajaniy, Blessing, Jayla, Ava and Aiden. Special daughters, a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, family and friends.

A visitation for Trina will be held Friday, September 15, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cummings & Davis Funeral Home, 13201 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44112. A wake will occur Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM, 13201 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44112. A funeral service will occur Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 6:00 PM, 13201 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44112. An interment private will occur.
