

Willie A. Harris a devoted husband, loving brother, adored grandfather and uncle. Willie A. Harrris AKA Jubuddy was born February 17, 1951 in Hale County, Alabama to the union of Willie W. Harris and Stella B. Harris, to this union 12 children were born, Willie being the 3rd child. He went to Glory on September 23, 2023.
Willie received his education in Akron, Alabama. In 1970 he moved to Boston, Massachusetts where he enjoyed working at a nursing facility as a CNA. Upon leaving Boston in the early 1970’s he relocated to Cleveland, Ohio attended and joined Christian United Missionary Baptist Church accepting Christ at an early age under the pastorate of the late Dan Pete Wilson. Willie was employed at Lindermere Tube in Euclid, Ohio where he later retired 32 years later after the company closed their doors. He was one of the companies most dedicated and avid workers barely missing a day thru rain, shine, sleet or snow. Upon retirement Willie enjoyed visiting his mom on a daily basis, as well as being a pillar in the community, gaining respect from the young and the old.
Willie really enjoyed spending time with family and friends taking numerous trips back to Alabama as he loved to “sit on the porch” and look across the field, as well as cook homemade biscuits, sweet potato pies and he was known for his great barbecue.
Willie loved and adored all of his children, family and his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Wille was preceded in death by his mother and father Stella Harris and Willie W. Harris, 2 brothers; Curtis Harris, Harold Harris, 2 sisters; Geraldine (Harry) Ward and Catherine (Jessie) Ruff. Those left to cherish his memory are 4 children, daughters; Shirell Harris, Yeakel Ray, ShaShanna Ray and son; Darriel Ray all of Cleveland, Ohio, 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 3 brothers; Wren Harris, Homer Harris, Derrick Harris all of Cleveland, Ohio, 4 sisters; Leslie (Faries) Williams, Josie Love, Molly (Edward) Durden, Zelda Harris and a host of nieces, nephews, two special friends; Mary Jean Evans and Tangie Jordan, two half brothers; Lewis Ryan and Roger Ryan and a several relatives and many friends.
