Willie C. Williams

Willie C. Williams was born June 18, 1934 to the late Aaron and Bell Williams in Maysville, Georgia. On September 26, 1954 he joined in wedlock to Florence Harper. Their union was blessed with seven children. This union lasted 65 years until his death. He had three children that preceded him in death: Linda McAuthur, Willie C. Williams Jr. and Cheritia Williams. He graduated from East Technical High School in Cleveland, Ohio. In 1954 he started working at General Motors in Cleveland, Ohio for 55 years until his retirement in 2004. He loved life and keeping people laughing. He had the reputation of helping anyone in need without judgement. Willie C. Williams fell asleep in death on May 18, 2020. He leaves to mourn his wife Florence Williams, his sons: Ricky Williams, Anthony (Lori) Williams, his daughters: Patricia Sims (Terrance), Diane Osaghae, Carol Williams (Ronnie), sisters: Eva Hawkins and Genevieve Ruff of Sparta, Georgia. His siblings that preceded him in death were Farris Williams, J.C. Williams, A.W. Williams, Jessie Bell Howard, Helen Bacon, Elizabeth Grant, Minnie Williams and Hattie Williams. He had 24 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Remembering Uncle WC during family gatherings. He was a fun uncle to be around.

We had a great time at his retirement. He loved his wife my Aunt Florence, all children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many more.
