

She was born on June 6, 1932, in Madison, the daughter of Frederick and Anna (Merc) Rist. Aggie was born in Madison but graduated from Morgan High School in Clinton in 1950. She was also a graduate of Stone College in New Haven. She raised her family in Clinton. She was previously employed at Chesebrough Ponds where she worked as a secretary, and Pratt & Whitney where she worked as a drill press operator. Aggie was most known the the many years she spent working at her family bakery, Hometown Bakery in Madison where she was known for her smile, positive attitude, and genuine concern for all of her patrons. Aggie was in the Order of the Eastern Star for over 40 years in Madison and served as Worthy Matron. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of Madison for over 50 years.
Mrs. Flemming is survived by her husband of 54 years, James; daughter Ann Pavlou and husband Ken Pavlou of Killingworth and son James, Jr., of Voluntown; grandchildren Jimmy Flemming, Jason and Katie Pavlou. Aggie's daily focus was her family and will be deeply missed for her love and caring.
