Alice K Harrison

Alice K. Harrison died peacefully on March 15, 2017 after a long illness. She and her twin sister Marion were born in Pittsfield, ME, on Sept. 19, 1919 to Percy Kneeland and Eva Fayle Kneeland. Alice was predeceased by her beloved husband Edwin in 1986. She is survived by her two sons David Harrison and his wife Karen of Verona Island, ME and Paul Harrison and his wife Karla of Houlton, ME. Two daughters Gestrude Bishop and companion Donald Dest of Killingworth, CT and Susan Parest of Garner, NC. Also one brother and sister in law, Charles and Sheila Kneeland of Stockton Springs. Alice had Twelve Grandchildren and Eleven Great Grandchildren and One Great Great Grandaughter Alora. She was predeceased by One Grandaughter Emily and One Great Grandaughter Sabrina. Also One brother Clarence and her twin sister Marion. Alice graduated from Stockton Springs high school and was a stay at home mom and farmers wife. Enjoying picking vegetables, canning, pickling, freezing and churning butter. She loved raising and picking flowers, doing latch hook, playing games, cooking and visiting with friends and neighbors. Alice spent many years in Portland ME, caring for her mother and brother. Her service will be at the Prospect Cemetery to join her Husband at a later date.
