Bonnie Joy Wallock

Bonnie Wallock, 71, of Westbrook, Ct., passed away on October 28th 2021, at Yale New Haven Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born June 2nd 1950 to the late Thomas Dunn and Georgeena Hicks. Bonnie was consistent in kindness and persistent in love, and gave the best hugs. Bonnie lived her life as a mother figure long before her children were born. She was a comfort and joy to those who had the privilege of knowing her. Bonnie was steady, not easily shaken, a safe shelter in life’s storms. Her boisterous laugh and smiling eyes are etched in our memory; she’ll continue to hold our admiration, our love and now our longing.

Loving wife of Ron Wallock, loving mother to Lisa Wallock of Manhattan, Kansas, Michael and Penny Wallock and Scott Wallock and Christina Guzman of Westbrook, Ct. Loving sister to Gayla Borrelli of Northford, Ct., Rodney Hicks of Florida, Greg Hicks of Farmington, Ct., Trevor and Michael Hicks of Clinton, Ct., Darren and Maria Hicks of Clinton, Ct., and Heidi and Michael Taylor of Georgia. Loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Bonnie is predeceased by both her parents and stepfather Rodney Hicks, brothers Thomas Dunn, Mark Hicks, and sister Kimberly Hicks.

There will be a Celebration of Bonnie’s life to be held Saturday, November 6th 1:00 pm at the Clinton Firehouse, 35 E. Main St., Clinton, Ct., 06413. All are welcome to come and celebrate Bonnie’s life.
