David Lloyd Blinn

David, Lloyd Blinn, 86, of Clinton, Connecticut passed away at home on Friday, June 19, 2026. David was born on December 27, 1939, in Bristol, Connecticut and was the son of Lloyd and Dora Beckwith Blinn.

David served with pride and honor in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. Upon his return, he became the manager at Clinton Grain and Hardware, where he worked for many years before his retirement.

David enjoyed anything to do with the outdoors, he especially enjoyed birdwatching.

He is survived by seven children. Valeda “Lee” Blinn of Clinton, Frank Blinn of Meriden, Heather Blinn of Clinton, Jed Blinn of Clinton, Nicole Gutierrez of Raleigh, NC, Jacqueline Blinn and Suzette Nieves of Bristol. David is also survived by many grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother Richard Blinn.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, July 11 from 12 to 3 PM at the Swan funeral home 80 East Main St., Clinton, CT. Followed by full military honors at 3 PM in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
