I have known Del since 1968 when we worked at the Mutual Broadcasting Company together. We have kept our friendship all these 50 years lunching together in Connecticut and Florida. Del for many years was a patient of my dad’s a dentist in NYC. The last time I saw Del was about a year ago when we had lunch in Milford, Ct. We would email each other every now and then and lately I was wondering why I haven’t heard from him, I googled his name only to find he passed in December. Del called me Brother George and I called him Brother Del. I am most upset to learn of his passing. Rest In Peace Brother Del.

I knew Del since I was a child growing up at the beach. He was friends with my family. My fondest early memories were of him spinning records at our annual West Beach Association picnic....
In our later years we would reminisce about the good old beach days, and we would discuss some of the people who lived here, especially when interviewing him about the past landmarks here.
He was always very friendly and upbeat. He had a personality that people gravitated to with his smiles and laughter. Truly , a man that will be missed!

I feel very fortunate to have had Del as a friend for many years. So much fun playing golf with him at Clinton Country Club, and swapping stories while hanging out with him and Grumpy at my shop.
Such an accomplished man who always had my respect. Rest in peace my friend, the world was a better place with you in it.

I've been saving this, perhaps for myself, but there is someone more deserving and more fitting for this quote...Del Raycee "I pray that I may live to golf until my dying day.
And when it comes to my last putt, I then must humbly pray...
When on the Lord's great finishing hole, on that final green so far
That in His mercy, He will judge my life's been lived near par."

I've only gotten to know Del over the last few years - he made every one of them better - his quick wit, incredible energy and his passion for whatever we were doing made every experience better. he will be missed.

Del was "one of the good guys". He was always fun to verbally spar with and when he played golf that was fun as well. He was a war hero, a successful business man and a stalwart member of Clinton Country Club. He will leave a void which will not be filled. God speed Del.

Del was like a second father to me. He and my Dad and Gene Graziano were all good friends. I have many fond memories of Del. He will be missed.

I will always have fond memories of both golfing with Del and the fun times playing cards with him and our friends. Del had a very interesting life and he shared those experiences with our group.
